Sausage and Scalloped Potatoes


  • One package VITO'S robust or mild links, skin removed
  • Six medium sized potatoes peeled, thinly sliced
  • One large sweet onion chopped
  • ½ pound cheese of your choice ( I used cheddar)
  • Some milk
  • Optional: mushrooms, bell pepper, and spinach


  1. Partially cook VITO'S in a skillet.
  2. Place layer of potato in bottom of baking dish.
  3. Add a layer of VITO'S, then onion then cheese.
  4. Repeat until ingredients are gone with cheese on top.
  5. Pour in milk until it covers 1/3 of the bottom of the baking dish.
  6. Cover with tin-foil and bake at 425 degrees for 35 minutes.
  7. Lower heat to 350 degrees, remove foil and bake until cheese is brown (about 10 minutes).
